  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can black beans (drained)
  • 1 can corn (drained)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
  • Tortilla strips

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat; drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté onions until softened, then add garlic; cook for an additional minute.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and diced tomatoes; mix well.
  4. Layer salsa, tortilla strips, meat mixture, black beans, corn in the slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  6. Add cheese during the last 15 minutes to melt before serving.
