  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, pulse raw shrimp until finely chopped. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. Roll mixture into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp balls in batches until golden brown on all sides (about 4-5 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
