  • 1/4 cup butter or coconut oil (melted and cooled)

  • 1 packet instant yeast (or equivalent active dry yeast)
  • 1/4 cup softened butter or melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (or more as desired)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to 120–130°F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warmed milk and melted butter; stir to combine.
  3. Knead on a floured surface until smooth. Roll out dough into a rectangle about 12×18 inches.
  4. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly from one edge to form a log and slice into 12 pieces. Place in the greased pan.
  6. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes until doubled in size. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  7. Bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix powdered sugar with milk for glazing and drizzle over warm rolls.
