  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for finishing)

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, lemon juice, and spices for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet until golden brown and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and ginger; add spices and tomato paste.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes and heavy cream; return chicken to the skillet.
