  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ tablespoon creamed horseradish
  • 1 baguette (sliced into 1/2”-thick slices, approximately 20 slices)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Balsamic glaze (to drizzle)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steak with kosher salt and preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook for about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese, water, and creamed horseradish. Mix until smooth; add more water if needed.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil and bake for about 5 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain. Assemble by placing steak on each crostini, topping with horseradish sauce, drizzling balsamic glaze, and garnishing with chopped chives.
