  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté diced onion in olive oil over medium heat until softened; add minced garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Brown ground beef in the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked; drain excess grease.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper; cook to enhance flavors.
  5. Add beef broth and heavy cream; simmer for about 5–7 minutes to thicken.
  6. Gradually stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
  7. Toss cooked rigatoni with sauce; use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency as needed.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil.
