  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Sauté chicken pieces seasoned with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until golden brown (6–8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add chicken broth; simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; cook until smooth (2–3 minutes).
  5. Return chicken and pasta to the skillet; toss until well coated with the sauce.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
