  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 lb uncooked potato gnocchi
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Season the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet until golden brown (about 8–10 minutes).
  3. Remove the chicken and prepare the sauce in the same skillet by melting butter, adding shallots and garlic, then making a roux with flour.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth, milk, and heavy cream until thickened.
  5. Add diced chicken and uncooked gnocchi to the sauce, mixing well with mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
