- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- 1 lb uncooked potato gnocchi
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Season the chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear in a skillet until golden brown (about 8–10 minutes).
- Remove the chicken and prepare the sauce in the same skillet by melting butter, adding shallots and garlic, then making a roux with flour.
- Gradually whisk in chicken broth, milk, and heavy cream until thickened.
- Add diced chicken and uncooked gnocchi to the sauce, mixing well with mozzarella and parmesan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
