Ingredients
- 4 firm apples (Honeycrisp recommended)
- 4 Tbsp melted butter
- 1 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 8 chewy caramel squares
- Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
- Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F or air fryer to 350°F.
- Cut off the top of each apple and core them without cutting through the bottom. Slice thin crosswise cuts down the sides.
- Fill each apple with two caramel squares and brush with a mixture of melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
- Bake for about 30 minutes in the oven or air fry for around 20 minutes until tender.
- Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce.
