  • 4 firm apples (Honeycrisp recommended)
  • 4 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 8 chewy caramel squares
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F or air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Cut off the top of each apple and core them without cutting through the bottom. Slice thin crosswise cuts down the sides.
  3. Fill each apple with two caramel squares and brush with a mixture of melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Bake for about 30 minutes in the oven or air fry for around 20 minutes until tender.
  5. Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with caramel sauce.
