  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 packages ramen noodles
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cracked red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Sesame seeds (garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, cornstarch, beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
  2. Cook ramen noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until tender; drain and rinse.
  3. In a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, sauté seasoned steak until browned; remove from pan.
  4. Add broccoli to the skillet with water; cover to steam for about 2 minutes.
  5. Return steak to the skillet with cooked noodles; add sauce and toss everything together until heated through.
  6. Serve hot with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
