Description

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) quick-set banana pudding mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 heaping cup small marshmallows
  • ½ cup finely chopped walnuts (reserve 2 tbsp for garnish)
  • ¼ cup tiny chocolate bits (reserve 1 tbsp for garnish)
  • 2 fresh bananas, sliced
  • 2 jars (10 oz each) halved maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the banana pudding mix with crushed pineapple until thickened.
  2. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well blended.
  3. Add marshmallows, most of the walnuts and chocolate bits, sliced bananas, and halved cherries; mix gently.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, top with reserved walnuts and chocolate bits for added crunch.
