  • 1 ½ cups finely diced Honeycrisp or Gala apples
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ⅓ cup + 2 tbsp apple cider or juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a nonstick baking sheet.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until mixed well. Add egg, vanilla extract, and applesauce; whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Gently fold in diced apples.
